The first telecom-native Layer 3 chain has entered production.
World Mobile Chain’s Developer Mainnet is now up and running, a fully functional, permissioned rollout of our blockchain built for telecom and decentralized infrastructure.
This is a Layer 3 built with intent:
- Runs on Arbitrum Orbit
- Settles on Base for Ethereum-grade security
- EVM-compatible and DePIN-ready
- Powered by EarthNodes and $WMTx
It’s designed to handle telecom data from day one, with a phased launch strategy to validate network performance under real-world load. We’re already seeing it in action:
- 148 million transactions processed
- 0.3s average block time
- 115 million onchain addresses
- 7 million daily txs on average
- Peaked at 544 TPS in testing (and built to go beyond 700)
Behind the scenes, the chain is processing real data, supporting real apps, and proving itself at scale. This rollout is structured (fee calibration, payload validation, live testing) to ensure reliability from the ground up.
Real Infrastructure. Real Builders. Real Use.
World Mobile Chain (WMC) was built to solve hard problems from the start. It supports decentralized telco services, encrypted identity, and data validation at telecom scale. At the center of it all: EarthNodes. These nodes process core network functions and power the movement toward full decentralization.
And the use cases are already rolling out:
PwC is building a self-sovereign identity platform on-chain, where people can own and control their credentials.
IABG and 51nodes are launching a decentralized environmental monitoring system, using the chain to validate live sensor data.
These projects are operational, and they show what’s possible when infrastructure meets mission.
This is a telecom network with no Big Wireless, no central control, and no barriers to entry. The people run the nodes. The EarthNode operators secures the chain. The users share the rewards.
F*CK the old system. We’re replacing it.
