Rewards are currently paused, and I want to clarify whether they will be backdated. Will they be retroactively applied? Has there been any official confirmation on this?

There’s no official word yet on whether staking rewards will be backdated. The team is focused on rolling out the new staking system, but they haven’t confirmed if rewards will be retroactively distributed.
That said, backdating seems unlikely since they encouraged moving funds across chains and between wallets during the transition.

I’ve been wondering the same. I held through the whole pause and didn’t move anything, just waited it out. So if they don’t backdate rewards, it kind of feels like long-term holders get the short end of the stick. And just staying silent on it doesn’t really sit right with the folks who stuck around.
I’ve been assuming there will be some kind of backdated rewards, even if it’s partial. It just wouldn’t make sense to leave out the people who actually held through the downtime. Maybe not full APY for that whole period, but something to recognize the support..
I get that delays happen.. Web3, telecom, crypto… it’s a complex stack. But yeah, some kind of backdated reward would feel fair for those who held through the pause.
