What is the difference between Premier Staking, Staking Vault, and Staking to Earthnode?

Hey everyone,

I’m a bit confused about how the staking options differ. Could someone explain the distinctions between Premier Staking, the Staking Vault, and staking to an Earthnode?

Hi @Zack,

Here’s a quick rundown of the three main staking options:

Premier Staking:

This option is directly linked to World Mobile US mobile phone plans, where rewards come from revenue buybacks. It offers an integrated Web3 experience with added perks like cashback and VIP benefits.

Staking Vault (Core/Single-Sided Staking):

This is like the initial staking method. As World Mobile migrates to WMTX, this approach is evolving and is often referred to as Core Staking or single-sided staking. It will eventually be replaced with Earth Node Staking once the World Mobile Chain goes live with ENs DPOS staking (for Earth Node Delegated Proof-of-Stake Staking).

Staking to Earthnode:

Staking directly to an Earthnode focuses on securing the network and validating its transactions. By doing so, you earn rewards based on the node’s performance and uptime, and you gain a voice in governance. This option is ideal if you’re interested in contributing directly to the network’s security and decision-making.

You can’t stake the same WMTx to more than 1 staking option at the same time.
You will likely need one wallet per staking option.
To get rewards, you will likely have to stake your WMTx for a minimum period of time.

Hope that clears things up! Let me know if you have any more questions.
