What exactly is considered a transaction (Tx) fee on the WM Chain? I’m trying to understand which actions incur fees (like sending tokens, making calls, etc.) and how these compare to fees on other chains.
Hi @WIFIKA
On WM Chain, you pay a fee whenever you do something that changes the blockchain state—like sending tokens, making contract calls, or recording any on-chain data. It’s similar to how gas fees work on Ethereum.
Every time you trigger an on-chain action, a small fee is charged to process it. The team is also working on batching operations (especially for telecom tasks) to help keep these fees lower compared to other networks. Just a quick reminder: World Mobile Chain is an L3 built on Base, which in turn rolls up to Ethereum, so the fees on WMC are pretty small and the speed is super fast.
Hope that clears things up!
