Will World Mobile Offer Plans for Smartwatches and Tablets?

I love that World Mobile’s plans focus on privacy and security, making sure my data stays protected. But if my smartwatch or iPad is still connected through another provider, isn’t that defeating the purpose?

To keep all my devices private and secure, I’d prefer if everything ran through World Mobile. So here’s my question, will World Mobile offer plans for smartwatches and tablets?

It would be great to see affordable add-ons for these devices rather than needing a full-price plan. Has there been any mention of this, or is it something that could be coming in the future?

Hey @inesis,

There’s nothing officially announced yet about dedicated plans for smartwatches or tablets, but it’s definitely something that could come in the future. World Mobile is still building out the core offerings, so device-specific add-ons or shared data plans might show up down the line.

In the meantime, if your iPad or tablet needs connectivity, you can tether it through your World Mobile phone using the hotspot feature. That way, you still get the privacy and protection World Mobile offers, just routed through your main device.

If your device supports eSIMs, you might be able to use one of the existing plans, but it’s not quite the same as having a lightweight add-on made specifically for wearables or tablets.

So TLDR: nothing yet, but it’s a fair request and feels aligned with where World Mobile is headed.

I guess tethering works for now, but yeah, it’s not ideal. I want to be able to use my smartwatch the way it’s meant to be, on the go, without needing my phone nearby.

Would love to see simple add-ons or shared data options for tablets and wearables. Feels like a natural next step as the network grows. Hopefully it’s already on their radar!
