Is there any official word on when World Mobile will launch in the UK? Are there plans for mobile service, AirNodes, or other network expansion in the region?

Yes, World Mobile has plans to expand into the UK, and we’ve heard that it could happen this year. While there’s no official launch date yet, here’s what we can expect:

  • UK eSIM Plans: World Mobile is working on bringing eSIM plans to the UK, offering 5G/4G data and voice calls. These plans are expected to auto-connect to multiple networks similar to US mobile plans, as well as the World Mobile AirNode network, ensuring broad coverage.
  • AirNode Deployment: With the launch of the Hex Guardian program in the UK, individuals will be able to deploy AirNodes, contributing to the decentralized network.

Nothing has been officially confirmed yet, but the expansion is definitely in the works. Keep an eye on official announcements for more details!
