AirNode operators can see usage and uptime stats in their dashboard, but will any of that data actually show up on-chain once the WM Chain officially launches?
Like, are historical records going to be migrated, or is it a clean slate from launch day forward? Would be cool for past uptime/activity to show up.
From what’s been shared so far, the plan is for live AirNode data (current usage and uptime) to appear on-chain when WM Chain launches. So it starts with a snapshot of the network at that point in time.
Historical data (like growth over past months) won’t be on-chain, since there was no ledger to record it and the chain won’t be generated retroactively. But from launch day forward, everything will be tracked on-chain and fully visible.
Would’ve been cool to have the older stats on-chain too, but makes sense. Good to know everything going forward will be tracked properly! Excited to see the new chain data live.
