Where can I see my staking rewards and when are they paid out?

I just started staking and was wondering where I’ll be able to see the rewards I earn.
Will they show up in the Vault automatically? And will they be paid monthly or at the end of each epoch?

Good question. Where and when you see your rewards depends on which chain you’re staking on.

Cardano:

If you’re using the Vault on Cardano, rewards are based on monthly snapshots taken on the 1st of each month at 00:00 UTC.
As long as your WMTx stays in your wallet for the full month, you’ll be eligible.

Right now, rewards don’t show up immediately. The Vault will include a reward claiming feature soon. Once it’s live, you’ll be able to claim rewards directly through the Vault interface.

Base:

If you’re staking on Base, rewards are calculated after each 30-day staking epoch, which begins on the 1st of the month after you stake.

Once the epoch ends, your rewards will be available in the EVM staking app. You’ll need to manually claim them, which also unstakes your tokens. If you want to keep staking, you’ll need to restake again afterward.

The ideal time to claim is on the 31st day (the day after the epoch ends, in months that have 31 days). That way, you don’t interrupt the next staking cycle or lose out on rewards for the following epoch.
