Does anyone know when AirNodes will become consistently available for purchase rather than just batch drops? Would be great to have a more predictable option.
The goal is definitely to move beyond batch drops.
Right now, the drops are mainly used to control rollout, match demand with deployment support, and make sure supply lines and hosting readiness are in sync. But the team has said this won’t be the forever model.
As the onboarding process becomes more streamlined, AirNodes, including Spark units, will eventually be available on demand, not just in limited rounds. We’re not there yet, but it’s coming.
