With other carriers offering 5G, I’m curious about the speeds available on World Mobile - I couldn’t see any details apart from priority high-speed data.

  • What network speeds does World Mobile provide?
  • Is it comparable to 4G LTE or 5G on traditional networks?
  • If not, are there plans to increase speeds in the future?

World Mobile currently runs on 4G LTE, offering speeds that are pretty solid and comparable to major mobile networks. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Download speeds: 110-170 Mbps
  • Upload speeds: 10-30 Mbps
  • Latency: 120-180 ms

These speeds should be more than enough for streaming, browsing, and video calls.

A key thing to note is that high-speed data is prioritized until you hit your plan’s limit. After that, speeds might slow down for the rest of your billing cycle, but you’ll still have access to data (the Essential Plan and Advanced Plan are UNLIMITED data plans).

As for 5G, World Mobile hasn’t officially communicated about it yet. There’s no confirmed timeline for 5G, but as the network grows, we can expect improvements in speed and coverage.
