Anyone know when EarthNode staking is actually going live?
It’s been talked about for so long, and with all the focus on WMC and the app updates, it’s hard to tell where things stand. Are we close? Still waiting on more infrastructure? Is there a roadmap or date floating around?

You’re definitely not alone in wondering. EarthNode operations and staking is high on the list, but it won’t go live right away with the initial WMC launch. First up is Core Staking (around 5% APY) on WMC, Cardano and partners chains, that’s meant to come very soon.
EarthNode staking will follow, but there’s no public date yet. The team’s waiting until things like the DPoS mechanism and security layers are fully ready. It’s a big piece of the puzzle, so they’re being extra careful.
No fixed timeline yet, but we’re getting closer. Keep an eye on the official channels, shouldn’t be too far off now.
It really has been a long wait. I get that EarthNode staking is a big deal and they need to get it right, but an updated timeline would definitely help ease the uncertainty.
That said, seeing Core Staking this close to going live is encouraging. Hopefully that means EarthNodes staking isn’t too far behind. Just hoping we get something more concrete soon.

EarthNode staking is still on the roadmap, but while we wait for that final piece to come together, Core Staking is officially live!
You can now stake WMTx on either Cardano (via the Vault) or Base (EVM smart contracts). It’s a big step toward the full EarthNode rollout and helps secure the network in the meantime.
No fixed date yet for EarthNode staking, but with Core Staking now live, it feels like we’re getting a lot closer.
Core Staking going live is a solid milestone, happy to see this back on. Still really looking forward to EarthNode staking. Will keep watching for updates.
