Hey all, quick question. What actually happens if a Spark node goes offline? What should be done? And do rewards stop immediately, or is there some kind of grace period?
Hey @Red_Conan, welcome!
If you see your Spark node is offline, you can report it through the dashboard — the team and the host agent will take a look.
When a Spark node goes down, it stops contributing to the network, which means rewards pause too. There’s no penalty or grace period — it’s simply “no usage, no rewards” (depending on the type of AirNode). So the longer it’s offline, the more it affects your earnings.
Best move is to get it back online ASAP. If it keeps happening, it’s worth checking (or asking the host to check) things like power, internet connection, or even replacing hardware.
