Do I need to convert my WMTX into an ETH-based version to stake, or can I just use my WMTX directly? I’m a bit confused about how the staking mechanism works.

Good news—you don’t need to convert your WMTX into an ETH-based version to stake.
=> The staking mechanism is designed to work with your WMTX directly, whether you hold it on WMC, Ethereum, Cardano, Base, or BNB. All methods might not be available from day 1, but Cardano WMTx will definitely be supported so for now, you’re all set!
