I’m planning on getting the Essential plan with unlimited talk and text, but I know I won’t use all 10GB of priority data each month. Does unused high-priority data roll over to the next month, or does it reset?
Wish there was a smaller plan, like 2GB. Thanks in advance for any help!
On the Essential plan, the 10GB of priority high-speed data doesn’t roll over–> it resets at the start of each billing cycle. That’s pretty standard for plans with unlimited talk/text and a set amount of high-speed data.
A smaller data plan like 2GB would definitely be useful for lighter users. Nothing like that just yet, but the team’s been rolling out updates pretty regularly, so it’s possible we’ll see more options in the future.
In the meantime, if you’re mostly on Wi-Fi, the Essential plan should still work well for basics like calls and texts.
