I have WMTx on Ethereum, why isn’t it showing in the vault?

I bought some WMTx on MEXC a while back and it’s still on Ethereum (ERC-20).
When I connect my wallet to the vault, it shows 0 WMTx even though I can see the tokens in MetaMask. Do I need to bridge it over to Base first? If so, what’s the correct tool to use?

Trying not to mess this up, so any guidance would be appreciated.

Hey @IronMaiden,

That’s normal. The Vault doesn’t support Ethereum directly. Right now, WMTx staking is only available on Cardano and Base. So if your tokens are still on Ethereum, they won’t show up in the Vault until you bridge them.

To move your WMTx from Ethereum to Base, you can use the official bridge here:
https://worldmobile.net/wmtx/bridge

That uses Chainlink Transporter and is the safe way to transfer your tokens. Once your WMTx is on Base, you’ll be able to connect your wallet and see your balance in the Vault for staking.

Let us know if you need help going through the steps. It’s straightforward but always good to double-check.

Got it sorted.

If anyone else is in the same boat, just make sure you’re using the right wallet/network and don’t panic when it takes a few minutes to update. All good now. Thanks again.
