How World Mobile Keeps EarthNode Operators Compliant and in Control

Operating decentralized infrastructure across borders might sound simple, but things can get complicated fast when local laws get involved.

World Mobile has built EarthNodes with safeguards that make it easier for operators to stay within legal boundaries, wherever they choose to run them.

Each EarthNode service includes clear constraints that:

  • :white_check_mark: Show what services are allowed
  • :warning: Warn you about region-specific legal or technical issues
  • :prohibited: Flag anything that could cause problems before it goes live

For example, if you try to run a VPN exit node in a country where encrypted traffic is restricted, the system will spot it and give you a warning. You’ll get all the info you need, and the choice is yours.

Privacy and Protection Built In

The VPN service is designed with zero exploitable logs. That means even if someone asks for data, there’s nothing to expose. This has always been a core principle of the network, protecting both World Mobile users and the operators who support it.

If you’re running an EarthNode:

  • The only service you must run is IPDR
  • Everything else is optional
  • You decide what fits based on your location, your local laws, and what you’re comfortable with

This setup gives operators real choice while keeping things safe and transparent. It’s a straightforward way to run infrastructure without getting caught in legal uncertainty.
