I’m considering switching and wanted to know if World Mobile throttles your speeds after using a certain amount of data. Is there a hard cap, or does it vary?
For those already using it, have you noticed any throttling, especially for video streaming or hotspot use? If so, how bad was it?
World Mobile offers unlimited data, but there’s a monthly high-speed data allowance—10GB on the Essential plan and 30GB on the Advanced plan.
Once you use up that high-speed portion, you’ll still have access to data, but your speeds will drop. It’s not a strict cap; it’s just a speed reduction. This means for activities like video streaming or using your hotspot, you might notice the slower speeds if you exceed your high-speed allotment.
