World Mobile is built on the promise of user privacy and data ownership, but what happens when roaming on major US carriers like Verizon, T-Mobile, or AT&T?
Does World Mobile still protect user data while on partner networks?
Are calls, texts, and browsing still private, or do they follow the same data policies as the host carrier?
I’m curious about this too. If the privacy benefits only work when connected to a World Mobile AirNode, and the network is still being built in the US, it seems like there wouldn’t be much privacy at first. Would love to hear more details on how that works.
When roaming on major US networks, World Mobile ensures your privacy by routing your connection through a built-in VPN. This means your data remains protected even when using partner networks. While the host carrier handles the physical connection, your browsing remain secure under World Mobile’s privacy policies.
Additionally, Earth Nodes will record your IPDR (Internet Protocol Detail Records), and these will be fully accessible to you.
Note: Privacy will be even stronger when using World Mobile’s own AirNode network, especially as the network continues to grow and expand. Everyone will benefit as more coverage shifts directly to World Mobile’s infrastructure.
