Can I Repurpose My Helium CBRS Unit for World Mobile?

Hey everyone,

I’ve been considering what to do with my Helium CBRS unit—I was actually about to take it down, but now I’m wondering if I can repurpose it for World Mobile instead. Is there a guide or a way to reset/reprogram Helium HNT hotspots so they can be used as AirNodes on the WMT network?

I’d love to hear from anyone who’s tried this or knows how it might be done. If it’s possible, I’m definitely interested in giving my unit a second life. Thanks in advance for any tips or guidance!

Yeah, this is something a lot of people are curious about! There’s work happening behind the scenes, but nothing official has been announced yet.

Sounds like you’re not the only one holding off on taking down a Helium CBRS unit—hopefully, we’ll get some good news soon!
